1. How Reliable Are Elevator Steel Wire Ropes?

Each elevator is equipped with a minimum of four steel wire ropes with a high safety factor, eliminating the risk of simultaneous rope failure.
2. What Happens During a Sudden Power Outage?
No safety hazard occurs. Upon unexpected power loss, the elevator halts automatically through integrated electrical and mechanical safety protection devices. The brake system engages immediately, securely holding the car in position. Additionally, power authorities issue advance notifications for scheduled outages.
3. Can Passengers Be Injured by Closing Elevator Doors?
No. Elevator landing doors and car doors are equipped with anti-pinch safety switches. If any object or passenger blocks the door path during closing, the sensor triggers immediate door reversal. Door closing force is also strictly limited to a safe threshold to prevent injury.
4. What Is the Working Principle of an Elevator?
The elevator operates via a traction machine-driven system. Steel wire ropes connect the elevator car and counterweight, pulling the car vertically along fixed guide rails.
